Terms of use
These terms apply when a business or its team uses MyShopStock. Please read them before creating an account or using the service.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
1. Who provides the service
MyShopStock is operated by CERTISYT GROUP LTD (company number 17238897), a private limited company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact us at [email protected]. MyShopStock is a product of Certisyt Group Ltd, not a separate legal entity.
MyShopStock is intended for business use. Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot legally be limited, including rights that apply if you are a consumer.
2. The service
MyShopStock is a mobile-first stock-management service for businesses. It lets authorised users maintain product and barcode records, track quantities by shop, record receipts and stock movements, manage supplier pack conversions, and coordinate team access.
MyShopStock is not a till or point-of-sale system. It does not take retail payments, connect to a till, determine tax, or automatically verify the physical quantity or condition of stock. The business remains responsible for checking physical stock, recording accurate information and making its own purchasing, pricing and business decisions.
Features may change as the service develops. No specific availability, response time, backup recovery time or service-level commitment is promised unless we agree it separately in writing.
3. Accounts and business access
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details confidential and use the service only if you are authorised to do so. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for promptly telling us if you suspect unauthorised access.
The person registering a business must be authorised to do so. The business owner and administrators are responsible for inviting team members, assigning appropriate roles and shop access, checking that access remains appropriate, and removing users who no longer need it. Team members must follow the instructions and policies of the business that invited them.
Google sign-in, when enabled, is subject to Google’s own terms and privacy information. You may also be able to use email and password authentication.
4. Your business data
Your business retains its rights in product, supplier, branch, stock, movement and other information entered into MyShopStock (“Customer Data”). You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide Customer Data and authorise us to host, store, transmit, display and otherwise process it only as needed to provide, secure and support the service and meet legal obligations.
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of Customer Data, for deciding who may access it, and for providing any notices or obtaining any permissions required from your staff, suppliers or other individuals. Do not enter payment-card data, retail customer records or sensitive personal information into MyShopStock.
We do not sell Customer Data or use it for advertising. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where data protection law requires a separate data processing agreement, contact us at [email protected].
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, upload malicious code, interfere with the service or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or business workspace. You must not probe or bypass security controls, or use the service in a way that could damage, overload or disrupt it.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law or address a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will give the business administrator notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
6. Fees and cancellation
Any price, plan, billing schedule, renewal period and cancellation terms will be set out in a separate order, proposal or written agreement between the business and Certisyt Group Ltd. This page does not itself create a subscription charge or authorise recurring payment. If no fee has been agreed in writing, there is no fee due under these terms.
A business may stop using the service and ask to close its workspace by contacting [email protected]. Any separate written commercial agreement will govern its own notice and cancellation terms. Please request any data you need before closure; deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability, maintenance and changes
We aim to provide and maintain the service with reasonable care and skill. The service may be unavailable or limited from time to time because of maintenance, updates, security events, faults or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may change or discontinue a feature, but we will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes to business administrators where practicable.
You should keep your own operational records and use your business’s normal stock-counting controls. MyShopStock is a record-keeping aid and should not be the only control relied upon for high-value or time-critical stock decisions.
8. Intellectual property
Certisyt Group Ltd and its licensors own the MyShopStock service, software, branding and related materials. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business while your account is authorised and these terms are followed. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or make the service available to others except where the law permits or we agree in writing.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms removes any rights that apply to you under mandatory law.
If you use MyShopStock for a business, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity or goodwill, or losses caused by inaccurate stock records, a user’s actions, or decisions made using information in the service. This does not apply where the loss is caused by something for which the law does not allow us to exclude liability.
For business use, and subject to the limits above, our total liability arising from the service or these terms is limited to the fees paid or payable by that business for MyShopStock in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If no fees were paid or payable, the limit is £100. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it.
10. Ending or suspending access
You may stop using MyShopStock at any time. We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms, a legal requirement, a security risk, or where continued operation is no longer reasonably possible. We will give notice where reasonably practicable. On closure, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should continue, including intellectual property, liability and dispute terms, will remain in effect.
11. Updates and general terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will publish the current version on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects an existing paid arrangement, any separate written agreement and applicable law will determine how it takes effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms only to the extent the law permits and any required notice or agreement has been given.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. A person who is not a party to the contract does not have rights under it, except where applicable law provides otherwise. These terms and any non-contractual obligations are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have in another jurisdiction.
